First off I will tell you I am soooo mad at myself - my freakin camera battery died!!!! I could SCREAM!! I begged a few people to email me pics of the players but I am pissed... I managed to get a few before the battery died:

My nephew will never be the same - he's pissed off at my camera too!

The event was really cool- there were tons of people there - I begged a few with digital cameras to email me pics of the players so I'll post - does anyone want to start a drive for a new camera battery!

We got to meet all of the players and shake hands - they all handed out candy - it was hilarious because thier hands are so huge - instead of giving out a few peices they were shoveling candy into the bags! It was really cool. We watched the Coach have a shoot off with a kid - the kid one 10 shots - Coach got 2 in and got heckled good naturedly by someone in the crowd - " you shot better when you were with the Lakers!" "Coach said you want to come and try against me"??

It was neat - I tried to get autographs but they said they couldn't - lines were too long for candy..

Naturally, Karrie will have to answer that one for herself. BUT ... for the proposed (other thread) OkcTalk Bee Investigation Committee that I've suggested, Karrie has obviously qualified herself as a principal member, don't you think? Not only having all the qualifications for being a stellar Bee herself, by these pics she has more than demonstrated that she correctly perceives the essense of what is involved in the daunting task that I've proposed (other thread) in determining whether the NO inquiry/complaint has merit, or not, IMO, which, as said in the other thread, should be taken VERY SERIOUSLY!

Plus, as long as she takes a backup supply of batteries with her, she takes really good pics! I'll bring the extra batteries!!! :boff:

Oh lordy Keith, maybe 20 years ago I might have managed to jump around a bit with these 'babies' but alas, those days are gone! Now, I'm an old married mom looking into Botox - preferably a face lift - funds permitting! ha,ha!

It was fun though to see the players and the Honeys, but a disclaimer, I did charge my battery but it doesn't hold a charge obviously very long.. to be that close without a camera, oh the agony- I'm still distressed!
