Talking State Quarter

I saw the new state quarter for Oklahoma unveiled the other day. What are some of your thoughts on the quarter that was selected. I personally don't like it. Well let me say that I like some of the other choices better.~I voted for the one in the top right corner~ Anyways, if you forgot or never even got a chance to see which ones they were you can follow this link and see which one you like best. VOTING IS CLOSED THOUGH.

Ahh... how to put this...Jman, why are you putting national and state issues on the Guthrie forum. They have been tallking about some of these issues you have brought up elsewhere on this forum for months.

Question Re: State Quarter

Mainly because I was interested in a more centralized conversation with the people I talk with on here. If I wanted to float around and look all over this site I guess I may have found that out but........It isnt a big deal to ask it in our Guthrie page. OR IS IT?????

Not a big deal, just rather odd.

I don't really care for it either, but if it is spendable, then that's all I need.

Sometimes it is confusing with all of our active forums .. even after being here for years I sometimes start Threads in places where I later think.. oops, it would have been better elsewhere.

Anyway, no biggie.. the city forums were set up so we could discuss issues pertaining to that particular city.. but as you can see, we're all over the board some days.

I think the marriage statue of the pioneer man and the native American woman, that sits in front of the Territorial Museum would have been a good choice for the quarter. Great symbol of what we have done in Oklahoma. But that's my two cents, oops, 25 cents. LOL

I don't see any problem talking about it in here. Everyone is so touchy LOL

There's a reason why this keeps coming up...

After reading the GNL forums, I'm starting to see a common denominator.

What you call being touchy, I call trying to maintain some semblance of organization. You take offence , but with a forum a large as this can you not see why it would get confusing if everyone started posting regardless of the overall forum section? Hell, why not talk politics in the Sports section or discuss your favorite food in the education area while you're at it?
