When did anyone in Guthrie discourage comments from people who do not live in Guthrie? I don't remember that ever happening.

If People in Guthrie commented on there about "Guthrie issues" that made others feel left out and not part of the club, well sorry, but what else do you expect people to talk about under the city board of "Guthrie". I am truly sorry if anyone felt slighted in any way, that was never my intent.

No, they would duplicate non-Guthrie topics (like the War in Iraq) in this forum as opposed to participating in discussion with the rest of OKCTalk, and when asked why, they were very belligerant.

oh goodness! I think there was some confusion in the beginning. I think some newer members thought that the Gutrhie board was a forum for Guthrie residents only, when in reality it is a city board where all residents of OK can discuss events and happenings in the town of Guthrie.

Is that clear as mud?

Honestly, we encourage everyone to discuss topics and hope that no one feels unwelcome here!

What you all say is true. They, (My fellow Guthrieites) did not use very good manners...they had a couple of threads on here that were subjects that were national in scope, and were being discussed in depth, concurrently, in other threads.
