Default New construction

Can anyone tell me what is being built just South of Taco Mayo? Kind of in front of the new Walmart.

Hmmm, it's not Walgreens, that's on the other side of the road. This looks like a strip though. It's immediately south of Taco Mayo and back a little bit. Brown, strip mall (though very small scale) looking.

That's the DHS building, it's going really slow. I was wondering, what are they clearing the land just to the north of the Walmart, up on the hill. Anyone know?

That was fast! Did they have the Extreme Makeover Fast Food Edition working on it?

Rumor: I heard a little strip mall was going in just South of the new Wally. Also heard a Tuesday Morning was going in there and I don't even know what Tuesday Morning is.

Bldg behind Fuente Grande is the new DHS building being built by state dhs construction crew entirely, almost. That is why it is going so slow. Also, building is located on state school land as is Pettys, Fuente Grande, Dominoes, and car lot.
Looks as though they are trying to promote some activity in that area though as they are implenting a cul-de-sac formation to drive which would indicate possible further development there.

That's what I meant to say, South of Wal-mart.
I heard strip mall too, but nothing specific. Starbucks would be nice, we would feel like a "real town" if they came in. LOL

What happened too "ChappellTime/PowellPower" etc?

A flash in the pan? Banned from GNL?

What about "Copsmom/Watchdog"? do you all think they were banned from GNL?

Oh no! now that I have mentioned them they will reappear...LOL!

It sure is nice at GNL without "Copsmom" don't you all think?

I think Watchdog/Copsmom were banned after a comment they made about censorship to the editor. The comment was gone quickly and they never came back. Can't say as I miss them. CT/PP either.

I don't know if Copsmom was banned or not, I hear that PP was banned, that's why he showed up over here as Chappelltime. Did you notice that Tentwenty is gone too. PP, TT, and CT had a little agenda, it didn't pass the smell test and people started to turn on them, poof gone. Don't get me wrong, I'm always up for a good fight.

It has been nice without the DA rants, very very nice.
