kristae, you can order your roast beef there "pink" (which is slightly pink and real moist" or otherwise it is well done per se and is all brown and a little drier. You must have got there on a bad night, because every time I've been it is superb, far better than Arby's "slick" looking meat. They usually have the au jous at the sauce station however you can always ask for it if it's not out.

Yeah the salt on the buns is a little strange.

Smile Re: Lion's Choice

I have been eating Lion's Choice for years. I use to live in Oklahoma City, but am now back home in Chicago. The first Lion's Choice was in the St Louis area. They are a very high end Arby's. The only difference is that it is not "shaped and processed" roast beef. It is 100% real roast beef, cooked fresh onthe premisis. I am looking forward to eating Lion's Choice when I fly down to OKC for my wife's cousins wedding!

I highly recomend it! I know up here the Chicago one(it is gone now bad location) I got to know the manager very well and he would even pull out a medium rare roast beef for me and sliceit fresh!

Try it. It might need a little getting use to because everyone is used to the fake stuff! Also order your beef with extra seasoning or see if they will give you some extra seasoning to try!

Enjoy your Lion's Choice! I know you will!!

Kristae, the sandwich may seem dry if your used to the high-in-fat and greasy Arby's sandwiches. At first, I thought mine was really dry also, but that's the texture of lean roast beef. I just started using hot sauce to add a little moisture, and of course, as was recommended, go medium.

If anything, they're cheaper than Arby's and offer a lot more in the way of healthy options. Veggie sticks for a side item...count me in!
