As we were first to report on this summ
er, the historic building at 400 N. Walnut sold to local investors in August and plans have now been revealed for a dramatic redevelopment.
The structure was originally built for the OKC Board of Education in 1919 and was then home to the Toll / Turnpike authority starting in the late 50's. More recently, it's been a variety of other uses and is currently vacant. 17,632 total square feet, sits on just under .7 acres.
The new plans call for significant additions and modifications that will transform the building into something almost completely unrecognizable from it's current appearance.
