  • Auction winners strip Spaghetti Warehouse down to bare walls

The out of state owners of the closed Spaghetti Warehouse in Bricktown recently auctioned off the entire contents of the restaurant.

On Tuesday, auction winners were inside the space carting off tables, chairs, light fixtures, drinking glasses and kitchen equipment.

An representative from the auction company said that virtually everything had been sold, including the huge wooden bar. They were unclear how they were going to removed the old streetcar that sat in the middle of the large open dining room.

Contrary to a report by another media outlet, we were told nothing had been boxed up and saved. That report implied the boxing up was further proof Spaghetti Warehouse would reopen elsewhere in the Oklahoma City area but there was absolutely no evidence of that.

The same media outlet also speculated the closure of a restaurant may have been due to a pending building sale. However, there has been no evidence of that whatsoever and certainly would not explain the hasty closure of the restaurant long before any ostensible deal closed.

In the first photos you see people taking down light fixtures, cutting down the vent hood in the kitchen and generally hauling off every little bit of the place. Everything within sight had a sold tag on it.

The last three pictures show the condition of the kitchen. Former employees had told OKCTalk the sudden closure of the restaurant was due to health code and/or pending repair issues.
