As my oldest son approaches his senior year, we're faced with selecting a college. My daughter attended OU and loved it there. But this one is interested in small schools. After attending a college fair his Junior year, we were able to narrow down the list
The first thing we did was attend College Day at USAO. Even though it was at they bottom of his list, it's right here in town so it would have been foolish to not consider it. After that, we kept visiting and eliminating schools. Making the final cut are (in order) Southern Nazarine, Oklahoma Christian, and John Brown. OK, JBU isn't in Oklahoma but it's close. Any alumni from these schools? Anyone know of the reputations of these three colleges? I've never heard anything but good about all three. Any and all input will be appreciated. |

I went to OU and absolutely loved it but many times I found myself lost in a sea of students and school i.d. numbers. It's hard to feel personal with the professors unless one is in a small class. Many of the opening courses were at least 350 to 500 students and was incredibly overwhelming. All in all I found the experience carving heavily into my character the values of social communication and diligence.
