Default Chalk boards or dry erase boards?

Which do you prefer when used in a classroom setting, and why?

Seems like times are changing and the chalkboard is slowly becoming a thing of the past, unfortunately.

I am a traditionalist. Nothing beats the tradition of the teacher you have a crush on letting you bang erasers at the end of the day. So, chalk boards.

I've used both in my tenure as an adjunct professor at OBU. I prefer dry erase boards, simply because I can alter the colors easier to make my lectures more dynamic. I also think the writing on a dry erase board is much easier to read.

I never went to school looking for romance with teachers.

Anyhow, for the reasons that the Rev. said -- I prefer dry erase. Also, the boards are a lot easier to clean. There's nothing I hate more than something that's only 'sort of' clean.

You may think I suffer from OCD, if you do, apparently, you haven't seen my desk
