Question St. Patty's Day

Does anyone know what the plans are in Bricktown for St. Patrick's Day? I can't find the information anywhere. What bands are playing, what times, are they having a parade? You know, details...

When you said gazette it made me think of their usual crossword puzzles. Anyone ever actually completed one?

I finished one for my mom's boss once. They ask really weird questions.

The sudoku puzzles are really easy in them too. Sudokus are great.

The gazette didn't give any information - it just said that bricktown was doing something. Maybe there will be more information in this Wednesday's edition?? I believe we will end up going to City Rock to watch Aranda play. I'm not a big fan of the venue...but am a huge fan of Aranda.

And - The Dungeon haunted Ride in 3D

A family amusement attraction like no other and built to compliment the atmosphere of the Bricktown entertainment district.
It's "The Dungeon Haunted Ride in 3D".
That's right, 3D. Patrons enter the 11,000 square foot ride with the new high tech 3D glasses and go thru over a dozen different scenes and props that literally jump out at you.
Going thru the ride, each person will experience such scenes as: the dungeon, the graveyard, the swamp (with a real water fall), the spider cave and a lot of extreme 3D art work thru out the ride.
With this attraction being an amusement ride, there are no limitations for smaller kids, older folks or the physically challenged. The Dungeon is intended for all ages but may be a little too scary for the really young children who scare easily.
The Dungeon is located just off the canal and across from the Bourbon Street Cafe. The ride will operate Thursdays thru Sundays through the Labor Day holiday.
Open St, Patty's day!!!Dates: Fridays thru Sundays through out the summer. Time: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (subject to change without notice)

We did ok. I was expecting a larger crowd during the week as were many other bricktown merchants. It didn't pick up till Thursday evening and did pretty good thru-out the weekend. But over all, we did ok. Feedback of the ride was really good which means more to me than numbers. We added a few things with one being a real 8 foot water fall in the swamp. I have several more props yet to be installed, hopefully in the next couple weeks.
We're expecting a better crowd next week during spring break. We will see.

Thanks for asking.

Hey all... this will be the place to be on St Pats... great line up of bands in a huge outdoor concert in the heart of all the bricktown partying... specifically Revel, BCB and 2AM. Bud Light will be there... as well as Dr. Pepper, Southwest Airlines, U.S. Cellular doing giveaways... with each green beer purchase you get a free powerball ticket! Budweiser will have their unique green beer cans as well... Goes on all day but the best time will be in the evening / night...

Thanks Sooner1976 for posting the image. I mentioned the event above but forgot to attach the poster for the event. It sounds like it's going to be a great time there.

Thanks Karrie,
I was VERY nice meeting you (finally) and your husband. I wished we could have visited longer... maybe sometime again soon.

Take care,

Yes, thank you Sooner1976 for posting that. I am taking my son out during the day for the parade and the Irish dancers. We may watch some of the bands play for a bit also. I'm keeping 2AM thoughts alive in my head though- if I can't take cityrock anymore I will head outside and catch them play. Those boys are good. Well, I hope everyone has a great time this weekend! Be safe.

Why did Downtown OKC, Inc. not provide ANY information about this weekends events on their website? Don't tell me they are that busy. Their calendar tells us the Crystal Bridge is closed, but not what is going on. Good Grief!

About.com has some more information...
