Hello everyone,

Exactly one year ago today we moved our first trailer load of the dungeon ride into the basement. The start to a very long and trying journey had begun. Since 2001 I have been looking for a somewhat permanent home for the ride. It's finally happened (for now anway). Even though the ticket sales sales hasn't surpassed the investment, it's at least providing a safe and fun entertainment venue for the whole family to enjoy, and now for more than just one season.
I realize this type of entertainment isn't for everyone but it is for some. I've seen smiles on kids faces. I've heard them begging to go again. I've heard parents say good job. And yes, I've heard few negative feedback issues. And hopefully I have fixed those issues to keep from reoccurring. But it all comes with the territory in a business.
I just wanted to share this milestone and let everyone who has visited the dungeon, I thank you very much!
As the last few days for summer operation come to a close, I want to remind the audience of the coupon (located at the top of the OKCTalk home page) for a discount to OKCTalk members and the bennefit it serves for OKCTalk. If you come down, don't forget to print out the coupon and bring it with you.
You can ask for me if you want to. I would really like to meet any OKCTalk members who come down. If I don't see you in the next few days, I do hope to see you in the months to come. Gearing up for Halloween starting next week and then changing it all for Christmas (in the charming way). The Dungeon Master will rest as Santas Helper kicks in.
Thank you and hope we can have somewhat of a restfull holiday weekend. This past week has really been trying for the victims of the hurricane and my prayers go out to them.

Congratulations on this milestone. As a business owner myself, I know how important and symbolic it is to reach each milestone. Heart-felt kudos to you.

Best wishes to an even more successful and prosperous fall season this year.

Scribe, knowing I have probably been anoying to some in past threads, I REALLY do appreciate your kind words. Sometimes my thoughts go heavier on posts than they really would in actual life and I hate when I do that.
As with any small business owner, it's tough getting started especially with all the financial sacrifices to be made. It has been tough, but it's been rewarding.

Can I ask what type of business you are envolved in?

Thanks again for your comments. I hope we can meet some day.:respect:

Yes, I am busy, but our company is more than one person. I can't take all the credit; my business partner brings alot to the table as well. In any case, each of us has brought a unique set of skills and experience that has complemented each other well and allowed us to offer a more diverse set of services. For many of our clients, we are indeed a "one-stop shop." For some, we've even become their company's marketing department.

But enough about me... this thread was about your business and its milestone.

I see a potential business venture, way to go both of you!

This is really how business and cities grow and prosper, keeping dollars local - reinvesting in the community!

Hopefully, OKCTalk could lead to more business transactions. That is just one more great thing about this forum and its credible contribution to the Renaissance of OKC.

Congrats to Dungeon and Scribe!!! Hope all of the best successes in the future!!
