The East Bricktown Music Fest is coming this Friday and Saturday, August 19 and 20. The festival is behind Bricktown Live on Sheridan, and costs $16 for a two-day pass, $8 for one day, and $10 at the gate. Kids under 10 are free with paid adult. There will be food/beverage vendors, tees, an artist market, kids area, and more. This site lists some bands playing:

With over 50 bands, it appears it could blow the doors off OKC's music scene and attract national attention. We need people to support events like this. A successful and growing festival could do for OKC what South by Southwest did for Austin, especially if it was combined with the deadCENTER film festival.
