Default Quiet and potentially costly change for parking

I've got the latest on new parking meter enforcement at OKC Central — All about downtown OKC.

We live across from the substation and always have been told not to worry about the meters after 4 p.m. Suddenly we received 2 tickets. When we asked why they said they just started enforcing the 6 p.m rule the day before. Today we walked to Falcones at 5:30 and counted 7 people with tickets. I know there justification will be thats what the meter reads but this is definitely not the right way to do it.

You can't just change that all the sudden. Very frustrating.

Makes no sense, unless they are just TRYING to make the parking issue an even bigger reason not to come to Bricktown. Is this still going on?
