Thumbs down XM Radio

Tried to take up on a welcome back offer from XM after my trial period ended from my new car purchase. I hate it. Even had missing channels. They have to put you on hold before answering any question. Yes. The big ole hold game. I even have a credit card charge for the wrong account.

Anyway, I don't want to waste your time with the details because my problem is a dime a dozen. I researched online and found out they have a horrible reputation for customer service. It's probably because the company needs to cut corners to stay afloat.

Had XM in my car for the last 10 months w/ no problems...so I hope that continues since it sounds like their customer service is not so good

I've had XM for over 2 years and they have been a bit disappointing lately. They keep shuffling my favorite talk show host, Ed Schultz, from channel to channel.

I do like the music, especially with no commercials! I haven't listened to local radio since. Let's just hope I don't need customer service.

Too bad XM and SIRI equipment can't be used interchangeably. I'd like to have some of the channels on Sirius available to me.

Supervisor was supposed to contact me when I went to the deletion department. They never did. I am having my cc company dispute the charge. Guess I'll have to call them again.

I've had Sirius for a few years myself. I am in my car/truck for hours at a time and I am totally addicted to Sirius Radio - makes the time behind the wheel go by so much faster!

I never had a problem with my XM, even when I cancelled it. Just like any call center, you must have got a bad rep.

awhile back when I tried to cancel the subscription they offered me service until March and they also gave me the direct phone number to their real customer service center. The rep actually called it the real service number. The deal was no more hassles and free service until March for me to stay.

I got charged an odd amount again and used the number a couple of weeks ago. I told the rep that I got charged for someone elses account again and they refunded me back more than I was charged.

also, the "real" customer service center seems to keep detailed notes while the other customer service group seems be only qualified in servicing routine transactions. If there is a problem they don't know how to find the solution. Seems like they have limited info and resources

when i called back the matter was solved in less than 5 minutes.
