Default Pool

We would like to have an inground pool. We like Pleasant Pools on Shields so far. Anyone like to share any experiences? We will prob get an 18'X36'.

I had a pool installed when we lived in CA so I don't have experience with pool companies here but the one thing I wish I didn't do was put aggregate concrete ( the little rocks in the concrete) they hurt!

My neighbors all had the stamped colored concrete with the little holes for drainage .... I wanted to be different and not have the same thing! Ouch! Big mistake...

The other thing we absolutely loved was the spa connected to the pool - the water flows over into the pool and it was really fun to sit in the spa while the kids swam in the pool.

Keep in mind your pool location with big trees ( leaves clog the filter) and where you will get shade for a patio - maybe tall cypress trees that don't lose leaves? The closer to the house was better for us..

We really loved having an inground pool and our house was always filled with neighbors and friends so we got to have the kids stay home instead of wanting to go elsewhere to play. I really miss it even though we have one of those gargantuan pools now down the hill in our backyard, it's not the same as having an entertainment patio right outside the house where you can BBQ and swim.

Have fun with it!

Ok, just kidding. Our stomachs can't handle Patrick and Todd in speedos.
