I will talk about KFC on N. May Ave, OKC. It's mostly occurs during driving through.
I went to KFC on North May Avenue few weeks ago. I ordered two leg and one thou from KFC. I was actually driving through. When I open the box, I could find three thighs instead of one legs, wings, and though. What do you guys usually do if your order and food are not same. My place was kind of far from KFC, but I came to KFC again. I asked the clock and he said that they only had thighs at that time. I asked them refund my money. I wonder why they didnĄŻt tell me that they donĄŻt have enough legs at that time. I could go to another restaurant instead of spending my time. To me, time is money. In addition, they often don't distinguish Crispy and original. Today, I went to KFC again and I ordered #1 Crispy. They gave me #1 original instead of Crispy. It's second time to get original. It's on N. May Ave somewhere. I am getting disappointed with KFC. Their foods are so oily and make people fat. Gee. I saw one person who wore KFC uniform in Chinese restaurant during lunch time. She was eating Chinese food during her lunchtime. I didn't know that the old man who seems very kind and friendly, give wrong food to me. I am going to check my food when I take driving through. You guys also be careful when you drive through KFC on N. May Ave, OKC. If you are a little bit careless and don't check your food, you may find wrong food when you arrive your place. You guys need to be careful when you buy food from the chicken Grandpa's store on N. May. Last edited by hailmary57yd; 10-08-2004 at 10:48 PM. Reason: Mistake |

Is that the KFC at 59th and N. May, near Home Depot?
Anyways, I think a lot of fast food restaurants work like that....not just KFC. I've had problems similar to this at McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc. Seems like anymore you have to really demand good service, or else you won't get it. In my opinion, the guy should've told you up front that they were out of legs and wings, instead of just substituting thighs. But that would've taken a little something I often call "tact". You might just try another KFC in the near future. If it's the one on 59th and May, it also has a Long John Silver's with it, so that makes matters even worse. Anyways, my advice....check your food before you leave te Drive Thru window. Take your time...who cares what the people behind you think. If your order isn't right, roll down your window, and make sure they make it right. By the way, welcome to the site! We're glad you've joined us! |

I like to use drive thru's a lot because I usually go to Sonic or McDonalds after I've been mowing, and I certainly don't want to go in looking dirty and scuzzy. The one pet peeve I have are the stupid speakers you have to talk in to. I don't know how many times the person taking my order has sounded like they are in a well. Plus, they usually talk real fast when they are repeating your order to you.
When I order, I usually have to yell in the speaker, and they still can't hear me. They say"could you repeat that sir?" And I say, "what did you say?" Neither one of us can understand what the other is saying. I think McDonalds speakers are better than Sonics. Either way, I have been very fortunate, because of all the times I have gone to the drive-thru, only a couple of times have I received something wrong. If I have a difficult order, forget the drive thru....I'm going inside. |

I don't think that it's near Office Depot. It's located around 5200 N May Ave. I tried KFC nearOffice Depot and they were really good. Thank you for you guys opinions. they were helpful to me.

Actually the one at 5200 N. May Ave. is no longer there....that's the one that used to be by Wal-Greens at NW 50th and May. They moved in with Long John Silvers forming a combination restaurant at 6000 N. May (NW 59th and May Ave), across from Best Buy.

THE WORST PLACE TO DRIVE-THRU, DINE-IN, OR CARRY-OUT IS AND AWAYS WILL BE THE McDONALDS AT SOONER AND I-240, the owners hire kids they know and the kids know they can and get away with anything. Example: three years ago, my nephew and I stopped and ordered lunch, the young lady taking my order was rather rude and inconsiderate, as she was handing me the order I noticed the shake my nephew had ordered was WAY TO FULL, she wiped the bottom off handing the still dripping cup into my window dropping the mess into my seat. Two years ago, stopped in with my brother and my nephew, was treated with about the same aerogance as before. Last year I stopped in while on my way out to my hunting land, the drive thru girl was horsing around with the cook and took forever to open the window and say rather rudely, that'll be $4.00 and some change, well, I had enough so I said I would take the order inside as I wanted to talk with the manager, after pulling around and stepping inside I noticed the young cook had my order re-opening it and putting everthing back into the bag trying to hand it to me, I said no, I would like to speak with the manager on duty, he tried several times to side step me and get me to take the order he had just handed me, only problem with this scenario is I saw him spit on my burger, when the manager finally came to the front, I explained the situation and she called me a liar and said the young man would never attempt something like that, I assured her it did happen and filled out a complaint, NO ONE, AND I MEAN NO ONE EVER contacted me about the inccident, not even the owners themselves, and this is a franchisee store, you'd think they would want the best customer relations. OH WELL, needless to say I don't stop there anymore, I use the one on 19th and I-35 in MOORE, MUCH BETTER SERVICE, and friendlier faces as well.
