My worst experience was at Walmart at Belle Isle. I made a small error (really, I am not sure that it was a mistake but the cashier said it was) and she humiliated me in front of everyone. I have never been so humiliated before by a cashier or any other type of employee. I was terrified every time I went there for the next couple of months that I would run into her. I wished later that I had spoken with a manager about this situation. I think that would have been best to do to keep this from happening to someone else.

I've also heard some bad experiences with the cashiers at that Wal-Mart. I've had some nice cashiers at the one on I-35 and 19th. The cashiers at the Wal-Mart at 240 and Santa Fe have a zombie like stare. I would probably be expressionless if I was a cashier there too.

You know, Wal-Mart in General has gone down hill. I worked there in my early college days & they were very strict on dress, demeanor, ect. We could NEVER wear Jeans & Shorts were out of the question (even for the Stockmen). Even if you were wearing slacks, you had to make sure they looked really nice before you'd get away with wearing them.
I entered the Wal-Mart in Moore last night & the supposed "Greeter" gave me a look like I was bothering her when I said "Hello" as I entered. She did not say a word to me in return. Isn't a "Greeter" supposed to say at least Hello in return? |

"Supposed to" to say Hello. It's the greeters "Job"! Its just common courtesy anyway to reply to a hello. I come from some smaller towns where everybody waves and everybody says hello. But, the big city is a little different.

Sometimes i use a wheel chair it amazes me if i stay in the chair to eat. almost always the wait staff does not address me when taking order, its like when im in my chair im invisable. also if my husband is pushing my chair the greeter greets him but never makes eye contact with me. the other day at kohls i was looking for a certain size bra the worker ignored me but when hubby was helping me she asked if he needed assitance it was obivious he was helping me. but i was looking for a full 5 minutes on my own got no help.
