Default Kansas City Blues BBQ

This place is unbelievable. It's on Britton next to Johnny's in the old Braum's building. I like the slogan: Chip sez, "It's no disgrace to get sauce on your face."

I'm quite fond of it myself; in fact, I had the temerity to bring one of my children (who lives around Kansas City) to it, and she pronounced it good.

Stopped by the other day. The bbq sauce seems a little plain, the ribs were pretty decent but were a bit oversmoked which made some parts tough.

I would say this ends up on the average list of bbq places but would probably return to try out some of their other meats to see if they are better.

IMO, not BBQ in OKC beats Iron Starr on 36th and Shartel. Yummm. They have the best hamburgers in the world and their ribs are so tender, I can eat them with a fork. (Don't even leave without trying the maccaroni and cheese).
