Dropped off my Sony Digital Video camera Oct 5, 2007 to be checked out. The camera records, but will not playback. Audio Dimensions has a great reputation and I was happy to learn they had a service dept willing to look at the camera. They promptly charged my card the next day $50.00. I called two weeks later to find "the guy that works on those is in the hospital." Three weeks later called and was told it needed a part and it would cost $169. total for the repair. The camera cost $1100. so I thought this was fine and advised them to order the part. It is Dec 10 and the part supposedly is still not in. They have never initiated contact with me and seem to be very disorganized. Missed the kids birthdays and Halloween! Just needed to pass this on to anyone considering these guys for service work on electronics.

Often it simply takes a long time to get a part. I don't think you should be indicting AD without more information. My experiences with their repair shop have been great.
