Default Barbie and Genetal Herpes

I'm watching "American Dreams" premiere tonight, family hour and all, and I'm not surprised to see a commercial for the Barbie "Princess and the Pauper" DVD. But then, immediately after that, a commercial for treatment of genetal herpes. Am I the only one finding this world we live in to be a bit bizarre?

Followed by a Viagra ad followed by an Aladdin DVD ad

Or, how about a Viagra ad, followed by a maxi pad commercial. You know, sitting in front of the TV with the family or friends, and all of a sudden...WHAM.....a commercial for viagra, maxi pads, and how to get rid of genital herpes.....and this is all during prime time. When I was growing up, these commercials would have never been on TV.

... Followed by the Victoria's Secret commercial featuring nearly naked models wearing revealing lingere. That one would have been banned as well.

Yes, Keith. I agree with the heart of your message. I wish they would censor things like they use to. No wonder our kids are turning us into early grandparents.
