Here's my stab at a relevant thread within this category. I've spread the sights wide: 5 songs, your favs. Any genre, any artist, etc. Everyone add your five.
Let's save the precision critique for another thread. Ante up, your 5 favorite songs (in any order) are.... |

I have too many records. That's why I added that sneaky "your list can change" clause. Rhiannon is great. Have you heard Stevie sing it?
Gotta throw Pink Floyd's Live 8 performance of Wish You Were Here into my TOP 5 LIST. Maybe I should change the title to top 20 or 30 or ? |

I have to second Karrie.
Tequila Sunrise- The Eagles One Particular Harbor- Jimmy Buffett Funk 49- Joe Walsh I'd Love To Change The World- Ten Years After Fast Cars and Freedom- Rascal Flatts I am sure I can think of a hundred more tomorrow. |
|

|
Oh, cannot forget:
The Southern Cross- Crosby, Stills and Nash, dont remember if Young was in the band at that time. Watched the Eagles Reunion tour number 1 DVD one night not long ago, it was filmed in Austrailia, if you get the chance it is a must see. Man Joe Walsh was cracking everyone up with his on stage antics, but can he still play a mean guitar, so: Lifes Been Good- Joe Walsh Hey, this is a good thread going here. |

Tracy has released from great music, but it hasn't reached the critical mass her first two albums did. She's living the good life, having saved her fortune and written her songs.
OK -- Check the new title. Five is too few. I just my iTunes library and have 391 songs rated five stars. I'm a bit of a music junkie, if you haven't guessed by now. DISCLAIMER: Of the 6923 songs in my computer, only 72 were illegally downloaded over a decader ago. I buy my music, mostly from the iTunes music library these days. Good choices, floater. Mr. Crow is one of my personal favorites. I have a special place in my hear for singer/songwriters. Conga is a raucous, get on your feet number. That's a good blast from my past. 80's music .... Aah, I'm smiling. Kahloist, great name. Ever heard of Fridda Kahlo? I assume you have. GREAT Janis song. I think my fav Janis if Summertime. Although there's a great Big Brother and the Holding Company disk out there called Live at Winterland. Good stuff. I'm listening to jazz right now, and need to throw in a few more names: Sarah Vaughan Ray Charles Willie Mae 'Big Mama' Thornton Miles Davis That's enough for now. It's your turn. Bueller! Bueller! Bueller! |

I love iTunes. It's a baaaaaaaaad habit, though. I can burn up $30 in no time flat. |

I don't have 5 off the top of my head at the moment, but my favorite is "And So It Goes" by Billy Joel. Mainly because I really like the lyrics, but have also sang a a cappella jazz verision of it many times. :-)
