Beam me up, Lord
You have heard the expression "beam me up Scotty," on the television series "Star Trek," and in the motion pictures of the same name.
The man who carried out that order, James Doohen, has died. "Scotty," as he was known by millions of Trekkers, died in his Redmond, Washington home, of Alzheimers. He was 85. Feel free to share your thoughts about him and Star Trek in general. James Doohan 1920-2005. May he rest in peace. |
