Cases like that would draw out and it can get ugly as the team would fight to get the domain from anyone who would buy it - just because. No different then most companies buy every version of their domain and popular misspellings. All to protect their trademark. I mean you can get domains for less than $10/yr why not spend $300 on 30 or so combinations. I mean $300 to the NBA, has gotta be like what? (insert your preferred amount here) |
