Hey there,

Just found the site and posted info about a program I work for at Redlands College and then started reading the nostalgia stuff and it's great. My name is George and I graduated from CHHS in 71. I look forward to following the forum.

Cool Re: "Roll Call" - Introduce yourself

I'm looking to move to Oklahoma from my native Texas as soon as I can. Since I'm a strong believer in making a fool of myself, I mean "you never know until you ask," I'll toss out there for your consideration that I am a recent college graduate seeking an above minimum wage-paying job, a roach-free apartment, and friends who know a thing or two about the area and don't mind a "stick in the mud" tag-along!

Hi I live in Kansas City (actually Lees Summit) but I have been to OKC and the company I work for has a big office there. I am currently working on my Missouri CPA and Nevada CPA, and would like to be a controller at a casino someday. Are there casinos in OKC?

Hi All, I lived in UK for first 28 years, then 5 years in NY and 5 Years in OKC (a little east of OKC but still classed as OKC). I am freshly divorced and happy about it.. I own a couple of small businesses which means I have little time for anything other than work and my dog.. I do manage to get on the intertubes at night though !

Thumbs up Re: "Roll Call" - Introduce yourself

Hello,

I'm a self employed web designer that plays rock-n-roll a couple of nights a week, permitting the wife and kid allows it.

I had no idea this place was here until I was searching for a business and came across a post here. This is awesome!

Greetings all! I just found this site.

I'm a videographer / editor by day, and a sleeper by night. My wife and I live in Mustang, and I've been in OKC pretty much since 2003. I have no memory of what bricktown used to look like. Well, that's about it for now.

Been in Oklahoma since summer of '59. Used to watch early space adventurers in low earth orbit from back yard. Not nearly the light pollution back then. Moved to OKC, '72. Moved around OKC since. I do remember Bricktown before it got all neatsy cutesy.

Thank you, glad to be here. Then you remember all the old warehouses too. And how long it took to get form Wedgewood Amusement Park to town. Wasn't Springlake great? How about the Saturday morning Little League game Channel 5 used tobroadcast from their back lot over by NW 63 & Portland?
