Default Re: McCain's won't let Palin speak without "Deference and Respect"

I lean Republican and I generally think the Palin pick was a strategic home run, but I do think that Edmond Outsider makes some good points. In a grown-up world she has to live up to the same scrutiny as everyone else, more so since she is so new.

I wonder if the McCain campaign is holding off letting her do media interviews so that they can keep the story going. Let the media stew for a week or so and then when she finally does an interview she hopefully hits it out of the park. Kind of like let the world speculate about her for a few days before the convention speech, guaranteeing huge ratings when she does come on. Every day spent talking about Palin is a day spent not talking about Obama. But I hope they are not being too clever by half.
