What would you have said if somebody told you that in 10 years, OKC would have it's own NBA team?










What would you have said if that person told you that a press conference would be called to broadcast the good news, soon to be replayed all throughout the state on every news channel?















What would you have said if that person told you that said press conference would be held in, of all places --- THE SKIRVIN?!












Think about that, and it can make you a little misty thinking about how far this city has come in such a short time....




God Bless MAPS; God Bless the Leadership of OKC; God Bless the people of this great city; God Bless PBC for having such vision and not sitting on their laurels; God Bless the Hornets for allowing OKC a chance to show the entire nation that we can be an NBA city; and so on and so on for eternity.

This is a terrific day for OKC.

I hope everyone feels the same pride that is rushing through my veins right now.
