Both OKC and ALB have a lot going for them. As for me, I love mountains, but I detest heat. I can get decent, not grandiose, but decent, vertical rise terrain within 1.75 hours of OKC in a couple of directions. I deal with less oppressive heat in OKC. May mean little to others but for me, fewer 100+ temperature days = Ding, I have a winner.
