My interpretation of the "Open Letter" is that the OU coaches and team conducted themselves with supreme class, as they have been to this dance many times. And yes, they have tasted both the bitter (Kansas City, brrr!!!) and the sweet taste of victory.

It seems as though the letter was intended to say you earn your way to national contenders as much through actions off the field as play on the field. Chase Daniel acted like a spoiled brat every time our defense kicked their butts.
